The trees surrounding this hole and the bunkers around the green make club selection and accuracy as important here as on any hole on the course. The trees surrounding the hole make it difficult to judge the wind. The valley between tee and green makes the hole appear longer than it is, but with the green stretching 38 yards front to back, mid-iron club selection can vary depending on wind and pin position. Moreover, the green is only 25 feet wide and bearded front, left and right by sand. It makes for one of the most difficult shots on the course.
