The longest and most heavily bunkered hole on the course is reachable in two for the longest hitters, but several bunkers dot the fairway and the landing area was narrowed for this year's tournament. What had been a flat green also had some slope put into it when it was rebuilt after the 1999 Memorial. Nicklaus also added a pot bunker front right of the green. He hopes the changes make the hole more challenging for those trying to position themselves for an eagle putt with their second shot.
