The player who is precise with his long irons has an advantage on this tight, well-fortified hole, especially if a head wind is blowing. The green, which slants downhill to the left, is guarded by three bunkers and sandwiched by a grassy hillside on the right and a 40-foot drop-off into trees on the left. "It's a place you can get out of," course designer Jack Nicklaus said, "but you might be there a while." The course's toughest par-3 will make it difficult for even the most resourceful of scramblers to save par.
