Running the length of a valley between wooded hillsides, the hole once challenged the biggest hitters to reach the green in two. Equipment advances had lessened the risk, however, and the tee was moved bavk 28 yards for this year to re-establish the hole's length. If the wind is in the players' faces, most will lay up. A meandering creek crosses in front of the green to catch the mishit approach, and the small green slopes back to front so severely that even for those who reach it in two, a birdie is not guaranteed.
